Children's
Outpatient Service
Eligibility:
- Children five to 18 who are experiencing emotional and social
problems (adjustment problems at home and/or school, depression,
poor peer relations and other mental health related difficulties)
Goals:
- To provide pre-care, screening and emergency services to reduce
or prevent unnecessary hospitalization
- To provide for the progression from the more intensive partial
hospitalization programs through outpatient services to termination
from the mental health system.
Services:
- Psychological Assessment
- Psychiatric Evaluation
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Chemotherapy
- School Consultation Service
- Crisis Intervention (emergency) Service
Locations:
- Clinic at 4900 Wyalusing Avenue
- Certain public school sites.
- On evenings and weekends, children's emergency services are
provided by the Einstein Children's Crisis Response Center.
Hours:
- The main clinic operates between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00
PM Monday through Friday.
- Evening hours are available on Tuesday and Thursday until 8:00
PM.
- Saturday hours are available by appointment.
